"often my bodies of work explore the warmth & eerie intricacies of being a descendent of africans & cherokee from the deep south; originally born & raised in fort smith, arkansas.”

“many of my projects simultaneously insist on placing an emphasis on africa before europeans ever stepped foot on ancestral black soil through curation, casting, & archival research."

“through this research i've founded Anansi Studios which is a curated digital archive that provides more than two hundred books, films, sounds, & resources completely free to descendants of africans & indigenous peoples."
